Leroy was born in Washington, DC on March 5, 1948, and peacefully departed this world on May 6, 2024, at his home in Temple Hills, MD. He was a devoted husband to his wife Barbara Bruce and a loving father.

Leroy dedicated his life to his work as a Train Operator for Metro, where he made valuable contributions to the transportation industry. His commitment and hard work earned him the respect of his colleagues and the gratitude of all who rode the metro lines he operated.
